Every time I hop on Tumblr, it’s either posts saying that she’s flawless (Which I’m inclined to agree with) or that she’s an offensive, racist, sexist, blah blah blah bitch because of a handful of comments she’s made during interviews.

It kills me because everyone that accuses her of all that are being complete hypocrites about it. You mean to tell me that you have never in your entire life thought or said something that could be taken as offensive to SOMEONE? She’s fucking human and, to me, she seems more real than anyone else in that Hollywood scene. Listening to her talk is like listening to my closest friends talking to me. She’s just casual about it all. And you know what? I bet you, in the privacy of their own homes, all the rest of those actors and actresses are making all those ‘offensive’ comments too.

Celebrities are not perfect and I think expecting them to be is fucking ridiculous.

And regarding Jennifer Lawrence being “flawless”, she’s not. I know she’s got flaws, doesn’t watch what she’s saying in an industry and profession that rips apart your every word and move, and probably a slew more of other flaws, but it’s the fact that she embraces who she is and is unafraid and willing to not take herself so seriously, in addition to showing of her flaws to the world to see that makes her so flawless in my eyes.
